The Standiana Rowing Centre, olimpic champion Sefi Idem’s training place, is internationally well known for several international championships which took place here.
Lake Characteristics:

Facilities: floor-building with boathouse, repair shop, 5 locker-rooms with lavatories, fitness room, first aid, meeting hall for 100 people, 4 offices, hall, bar and terrace.
Outdoor area: Parking facilities accommodating 1000 cars, 500-seat-roofed tribune and 500-seat stand, first aid, phone, fax and lavatories.
Rowing Racing: Field 8-lane-olympic basin - outdoors boat-trellis - 3 jetties for the athletes - and 1 for boats on service - slipway for engine hulls - podium - starters floating tower - fix tower for leading mark - jetty for line-up starts - 3 floor tower for jury with halls for races - jury - timekeepers - photo finish and TV broadcast.

Located directly on its private beach, 12 km from the Standiana Rowing Centre. The hotel offers 120 rooms totally renewed with shower, WC, hairdryer, TV Sat, phone, airco/heating and balcony with seaview. Big private sandy beach where you can train. THe hotel has a large living area, private disco, parking lot and fitenss centre. Hotel Azzurra offers several sport activity with a swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball/basket court and archery. Bikes are free of charge. The panoramic restaurant offers local and international specialities together with sport menus.

Hotel Reno is located on the beach and 7 km from the Standiana Rowing Centre. Confortable and friendly hotel with 50 rooms, totally renewed. Every room has shower/WC, TV Sat, phone, heating and balcony with seaview. The hotel restaurant offers local and international specialities together with sport menus. Swimming pool and direct access to the beach. Bike free of charge.
