DAY 1 – Macerata
Arrival in Macerata and visit of this beautiful town, capital of the homonymous Province. Starting from the Sferisterio Arena, true symbol of the city, a work of late European neoclassicism, we will walk through the streets of the historic centre and admire the most important monuments: the Palazzo del Comune, the Loggia dei Mercanti, the Palazzo della Prefettura, the Church of San Paolo, the Clock Tower and the Lauro Rossi Theatre. At the end transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 – Ascoli Piceno – Offida
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Ascoli Piceno, city of the 100 Towers, jewel of the Marche, built on the typical travertine, offering an unique scenery. We will visit the historic centre, with the Cathedral, Piazza del Popolo, the “living room” of the city, the Palazzo dei Capitani del Popolo, the Church of San Francesco and the medieval area of San Giacomo. Lunch based on “Ascolane olives” and other typical products. In the afternoon visit to Fort Malatesta, an imposing Renaissance fortress. On the way back to the hotel, stop in Offida, an ancient village, which rises on a rocky spur between the valleys of Ticino and Tronto, known for the patient art of “lace to the tombolo”, an ancient tradition to which is dedicated one of the main city’s museums. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 – Stop – Campofilone pasta – Torre di Palme
After breakfast, through a beautiful hilly landscape, we will arrive in Fermo, a town rich in history, just a few kilometers from the coast. Guided tour of the beautiful old town, which houses historical-architectural works of different periods. We will then continue towards Campofilone, a pretty village, famous for its “Maccheroncini IGP”, an ancient egg pasta made by hand by the women of the village. After a walk in the historic centre, we will head to a pasta production for a visit to the workshop and for a pasta-tasting lunch. Next stop will be Torre Palme, picturesque medieval village, from which you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the sea coast. We will get lost in the narrow brick alleys, decorated by balconies with colourful flowers, enjoying a romantic and poetic atmosphere. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 – The Abbeys of Chienti...the places of silence
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Abbadia di Fiastra Nature Reserve, which was created to protect the lands belonging to the Cistercian monks and where you can still enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, in perfect harmony between man and nature. We will visit the Abbey complex and take a short walk in the nature reserve. Lunch and in the afternoon continuation with the visit of Urbisaglia and its archaeological park. Return to the hotel with stop for a visit to the Abbey of San Claudio al Chienti, a church that looks like a fortress and hides a secret linked to the life and perhaps even the death of Carlo Magno. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. End of our service.
