Join exciting walking excursions in the Apennines to discover the enchanted places of the Great Poet, in the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, between Romagna and Tuscany.

Day 1 - Portico di Romagna
Arrival in Portico di Romagna, check-in at the selected accommodation.
Free afternoon with the possibility of visiting the smallest volcano of Italy, located on nearby Mount Busca.
Dinner in a typical local restaurant, where traditional Romagna and Tuscan dishes are served.
Transfer to your accommodation. Overnight.
 
Day 2 - Portico di Romagna / S. Benedetto in Alpe / Molino dei Romiti / Acquacheta / S. Benedetto in Alpe / Portico
After breakfast, transfer to San Benedetto in Alpe. Meeting with the local guide, short briefing and distribution of information material (maps and excursion program) and equipment control.Excursion (difficulty level: easy; length : 8km;  height difference uphill: 235m)
The group will follow the path that connects the ancient village to the Hermitage of Romiti, a medieval path crossing between Tuscany and Romagna, culminating with the impressive waterfall dell'Acquacheta (quoted by Dante in Hell). Packed lunch (at the participants' expense) on the Romiti's meadow.
Return to the hotel. Dinner in a typical restaurant, where local dishes are served. Overnight.
 Day 3 - Portico di Romagna / Bocconi / Ponte della Brusia / Bastia / Bocconi / Portico di Romagna
After breakfast transfer to Bocconi. Meeting with the local guide and distribution of information material (maps and excursion program) and equipment control.
(difficulty level: very easy; length: 4km; height difference uphill: 200m)
An half day excursion to discover some interesting places, such as the medieval bridge of Brusia and the ruined village of Bastia. Return to the hotel. Lunch in a typical restaurant where local specialities of the Romagna and Tuscan tradition are served.
